In 1884, Mr. F. Hubbard established a farming supply store in the soon to be incorporated town of Medford, Oregon. Predicting the needs of a new and growing community, Hubbard was among the first to set up in what is now downtown Medford by selling products ranging from tools to wagons and buggies. Passing the business down to two of his sons, Hubbards Bros. began selling hardware to the entire Rogue Valley.

Over a century later, Hubbards was still going strong when it was purchased by four brothers and their sister moving to the Valley from Southern California. The Seus Family flourished with Hubbards and soon found the old store on Main St. too small for their expanding business. They opened two new locations with larger floor spaces offering their customers more variety and selection.
